As reported earlier this week, the DOJ has extended the ADA compliance deadline for existing pools and spas until January 31, 2013. Yesterday, the DOJ posted additional information, an updated Technical Assistance Document and a Questions and Answers Document. APSP is pleased to see the DOJ offer this information, as it provides needed clarity to the many questions contractors and facility operators have asked. We encourage you to download and review this information. APSP will be working to revise our educational material to incorporate the information the DOJ has provided us this week. REMEMBER, IT ONLY TAKES A SECOND FOR A DROWNING TO OCCUR, KEEP YOUR EYES ON THE SWIMMERS AT ALL TIMES!!
